Pick-up Sticks (Lavender)

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Two digits that are an equal distance from the central spot of a lavender stick must sum to the digit on that central spot.
A stick always has a lower total (the sum of all its digits) than any stick which lies on top of it.

Nice puzzle. The zippers work very nicely with the pick-up-sticks rules to make for some neat opening logic, and then the rest resolves cleanly from there.
(Or would have if my scanning hadn't been terrible, lol)

I'm surprised by the ratings for these, maybe people just want RR for life. Not that it is bad per se but I would have expected higher. But I like these a lot, they are tons of fun! thanks

Another fun puzzle. It is an art to set something like this that is new and interesting, without being hard to solve.

Great puzzle as always! Loved the fact that after the break-in a lot of numbers *fell into place* all of a sudden like an actual game of pick-up sticks. :)

The zipper logic is a wonderful combination with pick-up sticks. With hindsight it was always meant to be - thank you Marty for having the foresight!

Lovely puzzle, as always. The lavender sticks work very well with the Mikado rules.
