For what it's worth, I don't mind deducing flow! these puzzles are already a lot of notes and process of elimination so it seems like a natural progression of the rules while allowing for cooler art :)

I really dislike the whole "deduce the flow" of the thermos. It just leads to backtracking when you realize that what you thought were the rules lead you to an impasse.
I don't think it makes the puzzle any more interesting.
