Squished Peas (with sujoyku)

(Published on 28. May 2025, 18:25 by ChinStrap)

A present for SamuPiano's birthday from me and sujoyku. Happy birthday, Samu!

Rules:

  • Squishdoku: Place the digits 1 through 9 once each in every 3x3 box, with no repeats in any row or column. Cells on region borders (dashed lines) are shared between multiple boxes.
  • Split Peas: Digits on a line between two circles sum to a two-digit number written using the digits in the circles. For example, 3_346_1 could be a valid split pea line, as 3+4+6=13, which is 1 concatenated with 3.
  • Kropki Dots: The black dot separates digits where one is double the other.

All feedback (positive or critical) appreciated!

Solution code: Box 3 in reading order (9 digits)

A bit math-y but I don't mind that. Very nice and works well with squishdoku. Thanks!

Although squishdokus are not my cup of tea, this one was fun and rewarding to solve.
Happy birthday, Samu.

Thank you so much for the birthday puzzle! This was my first squishdoku and I really loved it! In particular the initial "a-ha!" moment was delightful!
