Sudoku: Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Fog of War: The grid is partially covered in fog. Correctly placing digits will clear the fog around that cell. No guessing is required.
Kropki: Digits in cells separated by a black dot have a 1:2 ratio.
Along yellow Whisper lines, digits must differ from their neighbors by at least X, where X is the digit in the leftmost cell of the topmost row on that line (The leftmost cell in its highest row).
Note: Lines may move orthogonally or diagonally, and may branch or fork.
Solution code: Row 9

Loved this puzzle. Question: is it possible to deduce the digit that exposed fog beyond box 1 without assuming that particular digit is the upper left-most on the line? Trying to ask that question without giving a spoiler.

I believe you are talking about a digit on the righthand side of a box, but correct me if I am wrong. There is a way to do this logically. The options for the other 2 digits you know are on that line always differ by more than the fog digit. I definitely made a mistake by allowing the fog digit to be that digit in the finished grid (I preferred the solve path with this - But I should have come up with another option and made sure the fog digit was NOT that digit, as it takes away a deduction from the solver)

Yep that was the digit. Just went through it again, turns out I made an incorrect deduction that resulted in a correct "guess". It's actually more elegant now that I've seen it. The whole puzzle was very bright and was my first time seeing yellow lines, so that was an extra treat. Thanks for the reply!

Added rules clarification: X should be the leftmost cell in its highest row

I too got confused with that rule, could at first not make out which was supposed to be dominant, left or top.

I really enjoyed this puzzle, I loved the yellow whisper constraint, very good puzzle

I found it a bit confusing at first if the topmost or the leftmost cell takes priority in deciding X. But maybe I'm just being stupid.
Otherwise a very fun puzzle idea! :)
