This puzzle was made for Scojo's weekly prompt. The prompt was to use Dutch Whispers. I hope you enjoy!
Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Nurikabe:
Shade some cells (blue) such that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected region. Clues (given digits) cannot be shaded, and every orthogonally connected region of unshaded cells contains exactly one clue, the value of which represents the size of the region. No 2x2 area in the grid may be entirely shaded (river), however, a 2x2 area may be entirely unshaded (island).
Dutch Whisper River:
Adjacent digits in the shaded (blue) region must differ by at least 4. There is no restriction on digits in the unshaded (island) regions.
