Echoing what David said down earlier; the 35 is a very obvious place to start, though I'm only a little surprised it's superfluous.

Good puzzle! Interesting to hear folks didn't use the 35. It's where I started since it's so restricted. Definitely helps the breakin for a one star!

This was a great puzzle, really fun to solve. But I agree with gadgetgreen, I didn't use the 35 clue at all.

I feel like I had to do some quite complicated logic for a 1* puzzle, but I probably just didn't see the intended way to solve it :)
