Rules:
Sudoku: Place the digits 1-9 in each row, column and box without repetition.
Rainbow Sandwiches: Shade some cells of the grid in two different colors, such that there is exactly one cell of each color in every row, column and box. Digits don't repeat within the same color. Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits between the two colored cells in that row or column.

This is a very well-balanced puzzle. You don't see a lot of sandwich sudoku puzzles anymore and I think it's because coming up with fresh logic for the variant is difficult. I could see this twist catching on and refreshing the genre!
