This puzzle was set for one of Scojo's Setting Saturday prompts. For this prompt, which was requested by aqjhs, we had to use 'polylines'.
Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column & 3x3 box.
The box borders divide the track into sections. Each section must satisfy exactly one of the following three constraints. No two connected sections use the same constraint.
1: German Whispers: adjacent digits along the track in these sections must differ by 5 or more.
2: Ten Sections: these consist of one or more non-overlapping sub-sections, each of which sum to 10.
3: Entropic Roadway: No two adjacent digits may be in the same entropic group (there are three groups: low [1,2,3], medium [4,5,6] and high [7,8,9]). Furthermore any run of three adjacent digits must be from different groups.
There are two racing cars on the track. The cells separated by the winning car contain digits in a 1:2 ratio. Cells separated by the other car contain consecutive digits.

I also thought this was quite hard but well worth it. At least three mind-blowing moments.

Wonderful puzzle, though not easy (at least for me, I gave 4*). I was confused by the words FURTHER DIVIDED. They let me think you cannot use any of the 2- and 3-cell sections as Ten Lines! Anyway, thank you very much for creating and sharing this great puzzle.
(Phil) I'll look at making that clearer in the rules. Thanks
