- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column, and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.
- Dynamic Fog: The grid is covered in fog. Correctly placing a digit will clear any fog in its own cell, and potentially clear fog in other cells too. No guessing is required.
- FOMO cages: Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the total in the top left corner of the cage, which is derived by possibly omitting digits and reading the remaining total left to right. Any digit which is omitted from the total must appear in the cage. (It is allowed that no digits are omitted, and the clue simply indicates the cage's total. The cage's total is always indicated in the string of digits.)
Example: A cage with "123" in the top left corner may be a 12-cage including a 3, a 13-cage including a 2, a 23-cage including a 1, or a 3-cage including a 1 and 2.
Here you can solve the puzzle online:
Solution code: Row 3 from left to right (9 digits in total)

Thank you, SamuPiano! I can only reply in kind: Setting with you is wonderful. I love how collabs allow us to create puzzles that none of the collaborators would set on their own.

I had to be diligent with note keeping and still made a leap once or twice, but the puzzle itself was fair and beatiful.

Thank you for your comment, ChinStrap, and thanks again for testing! We are glad that you liked the puzzle. Don't be hard on yourself. It happens so easily that one misses an option, especially since FOMO cages are a completely new constraint.
