Love at 9mod(4)st Sight (BROKEN)

(Published on 6. May 2025, 12:04 by Asi_Pasasi)

DISCLAIMER: Thanks to FFout for pointing out the puzzle is broken and showing me two more "valid" solutions. It seems that during my solve I neglected 2 digits from being possible in r3c5. I am terribly sorry for uploading a broken puzzle, but if yo were intrigued by the rules, I recommend trying to solve it with r3c5 being given as the number of "n" in the following string "mmmmmmmuuumummumuummmmmnmuumumwwwwwmumumumumummm", or trying to solve another one of my puzzles. Hello this is my second try at this weird modular triplets rule I thought of. If you enjoy this one be sure to check out my previous crack at it F-"Uh, Modular Triplets?"!

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Weird Modular Triplets: For every set of three adjecent digits along a pink line, two of the digits are congruent modulo the third digit.
For example: 238 is a valid triplet because
2mod(3) = 2 = 8mod(3)
467 however is not a valid triplet since
4mod(7) = 4 =/= 6 = 6mod(7)
4mod(6) = 4 =/= 1 = 7mod(6)
6mod(4) = 2 =/= 3 = 7mod(4)

Kropki dots: Two cells seperated by a white dot are consecutive.
Two cells seperated by a black dots are in a 1:2 ratio.

Solution code: Enter row 1 of the solved puzzle, left to right, to verify your solution (no spaces or anything in between, just digit after digit, i.e. 764125389)

@Asi_Pasasi:

I don't understand the point of your long description of the solution code. For LYR I posted something like '7,6;4: :125€''389" and got the message 'Congratulations! You have solved the puzzle.'. If you don't understand this, check out the 'hints' on the instructions page.
'Row 1' would be sufficient.

@FFout I didn't catch multiple solutions in my experimenting. I would gladly talk to you about it over discord (@asi_pasasi) or anywhere.

P.S: If there are private messaging over here then that's also great but I don't know where to find them.

If you don't require three digits to be ordered as along the line, there might be multiple solutions.

Definitely not a 1 star, simply because the rule set leaves a lot of head scratching as you try to puzzle it out. Not too difficult once you understand how all the digits play together on the red lines, so I'd say a 2-2.5 for me.
