Triple Duty

(Published on 28. April 2025, 09:36 by cristophermoore)

A 10-line can be divided into segments that sum to 10.
A 15-line can be divided into segments that sum to 15.
A region sum line has the same sum within each box.
The blue line is all three.

Dots between digits mean that they are consecutive (white) or have a 1:2 ratio (black).
Digits a knight's move apart must be different.
And Sudoku rules apply.

Feedback is very welcome!

I looked up puzzles with the anti-knight tag, found this one, then promptly forgot that there was an anti-knight constraint. I like to think of myself as a smart guy until I do something like that haha. Nice puzzle!

1) s = 5b = 10t = 15f
2) 10 <= b <= 24

@Azure @bcreturnee It must be possible to divide the whole line into segments that sum to 10 - but also divide the whole line (in a different way) into segments that sum to 15. These segments will overlap...

@Azure I believe part of line can equal these different amounts.

For ex. R7,C9 and R8,C9 can equal 10, while R9,C8 and R9,C7 can equal 15. Together, this sum must be the same within each box that the line travels through. Hope this helps. Happy solving!
