The first volume of Learn The Alphabet Snackdoku pack featuring 26 variants for each alphabet (A-Z). The pack was made for Scojo prompt of making snackdoku, bite-sized puzzles that experienced solver can solved in 2 minutes or less. Some puzzles might take slightly longer, but should still be approachable.

Rules:

Normal 4x4 sudoku rules apply.
Arrow Sequences: For a digit N in a circle, the digit N+1 is at the end of the attached arrow. The digits along the arrow (not including the circle) must form a sequence of consecutive digits in order. Sequences may be either increasing or decreasing.
Battleship Sums: Place one 1x1 ship, one 1x2 ship, one 1x3 ship into the grid such that no ships touch each other, not even diagonally. Ships can be oriented horizontally or vertically. Clues outside the grid tell you the sum of all of the digits that are on ship segments in that row or column.
Count Different: A digit in a circle tells how many distinct digits you can find along the corresponding arrow.
Descriptive Pairs: For every pair of clues (X and Y) outside the grid, either X is in the Yth position in that direction, or Y is in the Xth position in that direction, or both.
Equal Sum Lines: On each line the digits must sum to the same total that has to be determined by the solver. Digits may repeat on a line.
First Impression: The digit in each shaded cell is greater than the digits in the first cell of the corresponding row (leftmost cell) and the first cell of the corresponding column (topmost cell). Not all possible cells are shaded.
Greater or Sum: The value in the circle tells you either the greater of the digits or the sum of the digits in those two cells.
Hamle: The number N in the top-left corner of a cage must be placed (at least once) N cells away vertically or horizontally from that cage.
Index Lines: The digit in the Nth cell along a teal line (starting from the diamond) indicates the position along the line where the digit N appears. For example, if the first cell along a line is a 3, then the 3rd cell along that line is a 1.

Nice to see Hamle make an appearance.

The puzzles were all very cute. The battleship one was my personal favourite.

Reply: Thanks Paws! Battleship was fun to set. B is one of the puzzle that I changed with something better.

Maybe it's just a coincidence but i just noticed that all of the numbers in the solution code were between 1 and 4. ;)

Reply: Knowledge bomb. :)

Thank you! Really enjoyed that! But on H, I struggled because I just could not get it in my head that actual number IN the box was irrelevant! Kept thinking the number in the box was the position of the small number in the upper left.

Reply: Thank you! I'm not sure what's the best way to present Hamle, since it's supposed to be moving the given digits N steps. So I thought cages might be okay.

Lovely set, each one made at first go: what how does that restrict anything? then you try and the logic falls out.
Great setup linking to each next puzzle and solution code within SudokuPad too (made it smooth to go through each puzzle)

Reply: Thank you very much! My hope is this way the solution code are accessible to sudokupad solvers so no need to keep track and to paper solvers.

I think I was missing something crucial on E; I wound up guessing more than I reckon I'm supposed to.
Still, some very cool clues! The battleship one was silly :P

Reply: I'll write the intended path in the hidden comment, it's definitely the trickiest puzzle for this volume. Thank you for solving dzamie!
