Hubert 2

(Published on 22. April 2025, 08:03 by Gene The Supreme)

A little more than a year ago, I set a puzzle called Hubert, which used standard arrows and ratio pairs. It was good for an easy puzzle, and contained things that were surprisingly clever for a novice setter, but there was one point the path relied on finding a random hidden single.

This puzzle was set in Penpa+ with no computer assistance beyond compensating for my poor penmanship. It has overall more interesting logic than its cousin, which means it's harder, and it overall shows how far I've come as a setter.

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Ratio Pairs: Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio.

Skycraper Sum Arrows: The number in a circle or pill is the sum of some of the digits along the attached arrow. A digit is included in the sum if and only if it is greater than all preceding digits in the direction of the arrow.
