For a Scojo setting Saturday prompt on ratio dots and skyscrapers. Thanks to all the testers!

Click the image to play

Rules:

  • Squishdoku: Place the digits 1 through 9 once each in every 3x3 box, with no repeats in any row or column. Cells on region borders (dashed lines) are shared between multiple boxes.
  • Black Kropki Dots: Black dots separate digits where one is double the other.
  • Skyscrapers: All outside cells on a clue must contain a digit. That digit counts how many digits are 'seen' looking into the grid in the row/column. Digits are visible when they are larger than all digits before them.

All feedback (positive or critical) appreciated!

Solution code: Row 1, left to right (7 digits)

Very nice puzzle. Tricky, but I kept making small steady steps, which made it very enjoyable and satisfying.

One minor thing, when I completed it Sudukopad did not give the "Yey!" message, so I wasn't sure if I had it right until I entered the code here

ChinStrap: Thank you for pointing that out. I have now fixed the solution check.

For me this was much more challenging than your previous squishdoku Compression Algorithm. This time I didn't find the right questions so quickly but I enjoyed every moment figuring them out. Very clever setting, thanks!

Haven't solved a squishdoku for a while and this was pretty fun. Somehow, the geometry always feels so fresh with these. And it works very well with skyscrapers since maximizing/minimizing the clues still leaves some squishy wiggle room.

Very intricate and clever setting. I'm new to squishdoku, so I may have missed some 'tricks' but this one has inspired me to explore the grid more. Wonderful puzzle!

You know I still have to warm up a bit more with both Squishdoku and Skyscrapers. But puzzles like yours definitely help me with doing so. Thank you for the fun challenge, ChinStrap!
