So Lorena once made a puzzle for me and it was time for me to make a for Lorena puzzle.
I wanted to include things Lorena would enjoy, so naturally I went to her kindergarten students to ask for recommendations. I'm not really sure if their recommendations are reliable since I could only ask them while they were distracted by doing some sort of coloring task.
When I had a chance I asked some of them "what does Ms. Lorena like in her puzzles?".
One of them said she liked the lines with a thing at the end, even made a drawing for me, i guess they're probably index lines, ...or maybe thermometers? I couldn't tell.
Another student said "she likes these" and showed me a drawing of some green oblong shapes, and they looked like split pea lines to me ...or could they'd been pickles?
I also remember one student said Ms. Lorena loves to teach them the ABCs more than the 123s ...or was it the other way around?
Also I might have gotten my notes all mixed up, some students colored over them, and some random frog (which the students swore it was a fellow classmate) jumped on the table and scattered them all... it's all a blur ...or is it dynamic fog?
I guess it's time for the rules:
Solution code: Letters on row 1, left to right.

The black kropki dot is perhaps my favourite deduction in any sudoku hahaha

A very entertaining puzzle, though one I really, *really* don't feel bad about solution-checking as I went. The string of row 1 clues stumped me for a rather long time...

Also, I’ll have you know that Daniel is perfectly fine. Okay maybe he did get turned into a frog for a while, but you can’t prove it was me who did it! Fine, fine, maybe I’m the only one who could’ve done it, but I’m sure it was an accident. How does one accidentally cast the Froggus Conversus spell? I don’t know, he probably deserved it anyway! At least he didn’t end up in the oven!

Amazingly ridiculous. Well done. I know you're not supposed to guess in fog of war puzzles but I did have to do that at one point.

I laughed out loud SO MANY TIMES with this. Even before starting I was already laughing when I saw the labels. The black kropki was a highlight, and the split peas… my husband solved this with me and he got it before I did! Same with row 1… amazing. Truly amazing. Hats off.

your husband has the required Lorena lore knowledge, and there should be a tag for it too, "special knowledge" was the best available.
glad you like it, the bar was high.

Well. That certainly was a puzzle.
Not too tricky, though it took a bit of thinking at certain points to understand what was being asked of me. A couple rather funny and clever steps that I really enjoyed.
And to answer the question below - I'm fairly certain that solution codes are not case sensitive, so either works.

Are the letters in the solution code capitalized or not?
