- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column, and 3x3 box has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.
- Up to N-sums: A clue outside the Row or Column N indicates the sum of all digits up to the cell that contains the digit N. (The digit N itself is not included in the sum.)
Example: If Row 1 reads 234156789, it would have an Up to N-sum clue of 2+3+4=9 because 2, 3 and 4 are the digits appearing before the row number N=1.
Here you can solve the puzzle online:
Solution code: Column 8 from top to bottom (9 digits in total)

A fun introduction to a nice ruleset. I didn't encounter any hurdles, there were always relatively easy deductions to be found. 1.5* Thanks!

Obwohl ich schon an etlichen Sandwiches geknabbert habe fand ich diese Variante nicht so zugänglich wie zuerst gedacht. Man muss gehörig umdenken. Aber ich fand sie auch Spitze! Heißen Dank für das tolle Puzzle.

To me 2.5* since one hurdle was tricky about a third in the puzzle for me. Great idea. Great fun thx.
**
You are much welcome, wuc, thank you for commenting! I think your difficulty estimate is fair and I have an idea what hurdle you are talking of. That was what nudged me towards 3 stars initially. It is great to hear that you liked the puzzle.

Fun puzzle, original ruleset. I think it is only 2 stars difficulty. Thank you
**
You are much welcome, Snookerfan, thank you for your comment! I am glad you enjoyed this variant. Considering difficulty, I think most parts might be a little easier, but there were a few points in the mid-solve that made me uncomfortable with uploading it as 2 stars. Let us see where it lands. :)
Kind regards, sujoyku
