Rules:
Normal sex by sex sudoku rules apply.
Digits along a spermometer strictly increase, moving from head to tail.
Digits separated by an X chromosome sum to 10.
Digits touching the pink egg have the same sum on either side of the box border that divides the egg into two.

Great puzzle. I was also confused by the wording until the very end of the puzzle and realized what was meant by the egg constraint. The puzzle resolved very nicely. Good work.

Nice Puzzle! I was a touch confused by the wording, and hope this might help anyone else who didn't get it the first time around:
The top 3 cells of the egg have the same sum as the bottom 3 cells of the egg.

Got a whole lot of cells filled and the rest with the options. and just like the "boys" i go looking for a complicated way to crack the last step when an easy one is sitting right in front of me. ;)
