I am very happy to share with you the second puzzle that sujoyku and I have set together. It was such a pleasure working on our first collaboration, Slices of Tentropy, that we started working on another puzzle soon after. It was truly a joy to collaborate again, and learn about some interesting properties of tentropy lines when used in new ways.

We hope you enjoy! Feedback and comments are always much appreciated!

Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column, and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.

Tentropy Loop: Draw a one-cell-wide loop of orthogonally connected cells. The loop cannot touch itself, not even diagonally. Every set of 4 adjacent digits on the loop must contain a digit from each of the X-pair (ten-pair) subsets of {1,9}, {2,8}, {3,7}, and {4,6}. A 5 may not appear on the loop.

Pointers: A cell with a small arrow is on the loop and counts the number of loop cells it sees past the arrow in the indicated direction. It does NOT count itself as seen and non-loop cells block vision.

Circles: A cell with a circle is NOT on the loop and counts the number of cells surrounding it (up to 8) that are on the loop.

Play on SudokuPad!

Solution code: Column 5 from top to bottom. (9 digits)

I'm a sucker for a grid in circles and arrows, and this grid supports my bias. Very nice!

MSDOS: That's great to hear Calvinball! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the comment!
