Chessdoku-4: Botez Gambit (April Fools)
(Published on 1. April 2025, 00:01 by .proxz14)
This is the 4th entry of the "Chessdoku" puzzle series where I combine concepts from chess with variant sudoku. This time, we've got some tomfoolery going on as it is April 1st today, enjoy!
+You can find links for the rest of series below;
Rules:
Irregular Sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 0-6 into every row, column and drawn region once each.
Anti-Queen: Cells that are a chess queen's move away (adjacent or on the same diagonal/row/column) from each other can't repeat digits. After all, this is a Botez Gambit so there must not be any queens remaining :)
Kropki: Digits separated by a black dot must be in a 1:2 ratio.
Circles: Digits inside of a circle indicate how many circles exist on the grid with the same digit N. (If a circle has a 6 in it, there must be 6 circled 6's)
Loop: Draw a single loop that visits every non-circled cell once, and never crosses over itself. The loop can only move orthogonally (no diagonals). Some parts of the loop are already given (orange lines)
Dutch Whispers: Region borders divide the loop into segments, and adjacent cells on a segment must contain digits that are at least 3 away from each other.
