I really enjoy puzzles that I can solve in the abstract first with coloring, and then deduce which numbers go where based on the leftover clues, thanks!

Response: You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed the puzzle.

I took the Picasso route here and enjoyed it all the way through
---
Response from Eric: Yes, the Picasso route is the way to go. Well done.

Definitely 2* the logic isn't complex and doesn't require any esoteric deductions. Just turn on your inner Picasso and it's a smooth solve. Thanks, great setting!
---
Response from Eric: Glad you liked it. Congratulations on the solve!

this is clearly NOT level 2, because it relies on either knowing the relevant grid-wide pattern (definitely niche) or working it out from scratch.
"easy for experts" does NOT mean the same thing as "easy"
---
Response from Eric: You don't have to determine any pattern. You can solve the entire puzzle through coloring, although myself as the setter did not think this was easy. I do think the rating should be higher. I set it much higher but as solvers completed the puzzle they ranked the difficulty much lower, bringing the overall difficulty rating down.

coloring went smoothly (I wonder if there's something to prove that there is just this one color pattern for anti-king and anti-knight)
AAAnyways, I was afraid of having to calculate several options in the end, but luckily you made that very easy for us, thank you!
Very nice puzzle indeed
---
Response from Eric. itsid. Yes, indeed it does seem there is always a pattern to antiiking combined with anti-knight.

Great puzzle, not too difficult, for me between 1-2 stars. Thanks for sharing!
---
Response from Eric: Nice to hear from you Gullie. The puzzle ended up being significantly easier than I originally thought it was.

Adjusted difficult level per solvers recommendation

I would rate this 2-3. Just coloring...
---
Response from Eric: Thanks. I will lower it.

My apologies everyone. I mistyped and put an extra digit into the code. It should be fixed now.

This was super fun. I got stuck but then had this random, colorful ;) idea. Half an hour later, I cracked it. Beautiful, but yeah fix the code please
---
Response from Eric: Glad you liked the puzzle. I accidentally typed an extra digit into the code. It is fixed now. Sorry about that.

Solution code doesn’t work!
---
Response from Eric: Code is fixed. I typed an extra digit by mistake. Sorry about that.
