This one is for the chess fans. If that’s not you, feel free to skip it, unless you’re a beginner, since this is one of my most approachable puzzles.
You can watch the game that inspired this puzzle here.
The given digits illustrate the opening moves of the incredible chess game played on March 15th 2021 in the Champion’s Chess Tour between Magnus Carlsen (white) and Hikaru Nakamura. These two Grandmasters are currently ranked #1 and #2 in the world, respectively. This is an homage to their most immortal game. Can you guess who won?
Rules:
1-8 Sudoku: Place the digits 1-8 once each in every row, column and marked 2x4 region.
Antiknight, antiking: Cells a chess knight’s or king’s move apart cannot contain the same digit.
Kropki dot: The white dot separates two consecutive digits, and also marks which side is white, since this Sudoku represents a chessboard.
This puzzle is part of my April Fools series. You can find my other puzzles here.
Solution code: The name of this position, which you can read in the completion message (two words without a space between them).

Solution code successfully entered. Now to try the puzzle :P
Edit: I considered making a guess about two squares at the start; it was interesting to see that my guess was right, even though I wound up leaving it undecided at the time.

Ah, a fellow chess enthusiast! I see your king's move, and I raise you a king's move of my own!

Fun puzzle! Thanks Lorena :)
A far too advanced chess opening for me. Perhaps a Botez gambit Sudoku instead!

Although I am not a fan of this (troll) chess opening, I enjoyed this fun little puzzle. Thank you, Lorena!
