I'm not sure how new this idea is. I tried to combine a few lines with Kropki rules. The puzzle turned out to be a bit more difficult than I had initially intended...

RULES:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- The 3x3 box borders divide the grey lines into segments. Neighbouring segments on a line stand in a Kropki relation to each other. This means that their sums either have a 1:2 ratio or a difference of 1.

Absolutely loved this one. Trains new methods and every conclusion is rewarding. It took some time but always continued to teach something new.

Wow that was wild! Such a meticulous accounting challenge, with beautiful logic.
I've definitely seen the concept of kropki sums before, but perhaps it was implemented with cages instead of lines (which I guess can have more freedom in terms of setting).
For me this was for sure 5*.
