Cool puzzle, smooth solve once you have the right mindset!

No bifurcation for me, but I did have to have some crib notes at my side. Really elegant!
You can put me in the "4 stars" camp, but 5 seems fair too.

Beautifully set! :^)

Yet another economical grid with a beautiful solve. Mathematicians may find this easier than others, because they may get the implications of the rules more quickly.

I love this kind of puzzle where the logic in the end is not that difficult, once you got the right mindset on it. But finding the right mindset is the most challenging part actually.
Brilliant puzzle! Loved that

Very nice. But I found it very hard as well. I for sure went all in with my “aide memoirs” as well. Thanks for sharing this gem.

@TrivialHomology:
I don't think that "minor bifurcation" you speak of is avoidable. I employed some "aide memoir" in the empty parts of the grid to help resolve this (and other) step, but but where does aide memoir end and bifurcation start?

I had to stare at this for over an hour (admittedly distracted doing other things too) before I started to make any meaningful progress, but once you ask the right question it flows beautifully. There was one other sticking point (where my notation had to undergo a regime change), and I either made a wrong deduction or I got my pencil marks backwards at one point which needed a fix, but if you take it slow and steady I think this is achieveable.

No way this is only 3 difficulty - 3⅔ for me, and the LMD average will surely be 4 if not 5.

Absolutely stunning. Fresh logic put to extraordinary use. Several moments of pure joy in my solve. Thank you!

Brilliant. A bit closer to 4* than 3* for me.
Very well done.
