This is my response to the latest Setting Saturday prompt by Scojo. The prompt called for clues that normally go along a line to be placed diagonally, and I have chosen sandwich and numbered rooms. Consensus testing estimate was 2 stars for difficulty, see below for a hint for the stickiest section. Good luck!
Hint
Consider minmax of groups of clues together

a good, solid puzzle.
recommended for any sandwich fan.
there's enough variant rules here to qualify for difficulty at least 2, and enough challenge to bump it up to 3. HOWEVER, it remains accessible to "beginners", because all you need is basic sudoku (imagine that, being forced to do sudoku in a sudoku puzzle), and good knowledge of the sandwich principles and procedures.

I really enjoyed how the clues worked together, though the puzzle reduced to pure sudoku a bit earlier in the solve than I would have liked.

Loved this ruleset! Definitely gave me some ideas :)
The mid-solve proved quite tricky, pushing it more to a 3/5 difficulty.
