Normal sudoku rules apply

Quadruples: Digits in circles must appear at least once in the 4 surrounding cells.

Kropki: White dots connect cells that are consecutive. Black dots connect cells that have a 1:2 ratio.

All possible kropki dots surrounding quadruples are given. In other words, in the four connections between cells around a quad clue, all possible white and black dots are given. Other kropki dots elsewhere in the grid may or may not be given.

A smooth and fun exercise in negative constraints.

SanFranSam and I were in the same boat. I had a pencil mark saying a cell couldn’t be a particular digit, and MUCH later thought, “But why not?? Oh, I was incorrectly applying the negative constraint.”
