[TSL][S1T1] Prestige (full rank, modifiers)
(Published on 13. October 2024, 18:00 by The Book Wyrm)
This puzzle was created for the Sunkworks League. The prompt was to create a puzzle using the given layout of lines.
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply:
Place the digits 1-9 once each into every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- German whispers:
Adjacent digits on a green line differ by at least 5.
- Full rank:
The rows and columns can be read from both directions to form 36 distinct 9-digit numbers. The clues outside the grid give the rank of the 9-digit number read from that position when all the numbers are ranked from smallest (1) to highest (36).
- Modifier lines:
Assign each line a unique digit N, from 1-9. The digit N may not appear on that line, and all digits on that line must act as N for the purpose of full rank clues.

I've never had my mind blown more by a single puzzle, especially knowing the setting prompt. Without a doubt one of the GOAT puzzles!
