Entropy Playground

(Published on 27. September 2024, 07:00 by Mad-Tyas)

I felt like it was time to add another more approachable Entropy Sudoku to my collection.

Rules:

Sudoku: Fill every row, column and marked 3x3 box with the digits 1-9.

Killer: In cages marked with a black dashed line digits must not repeat and have to add up to the total given in the top left corner of the cage.

Arrow: Digits on an arrow have to sum to the digit in the corresponding circle and may repeat if allowed by other rules.

Entropy: Each 2x2 box in the grid has to contain a low digit (1, 2, 3), a middle digit (4, 5, 6) and a high digit (7, 8, 9).

Have fun solving!

Certainly one of your easier entropy puzzles but very fun nonetheless! This is one of my favorite constraints and this puzzle is a great introduction for those who hope to tackle some of your more brutal entropy masterpieces

Deceptively easy start, almost started drafting a "this is probably a one star puzzle" comment in my head, then I got humbled - thanks for the puzzle.
