Vacancy Chain

Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Each hermit crab has grown too big for its shell, and must leave it behind and walk to a vacant shell with a larger digit (possibly one vacated by another crab). Crabs move orthogonally, can't cross piles of rocks, and no cell is entered more than once.
Adjacent digits on a path differ by at least 5.

Here's my solve of your puzzle. For me, it was a difficult solve, but pretty satisfying.

This was a fun solve - not so hard if you know some things about the ruleset, or work them out. The final grid has a special quality too, which I noticed by accident - it is quite an achievement to do that thing with a puzzle this good.
