Jigsaw Japanese Sums rules apply. Regions have been divided into puzzle pieces (dark edges separate regions). Colors outside the grid indicate the order of the runs of contiguous cells that must be shaded the color of the clue. The number in the square indicates the sum of the cells in the run. There must be at least one unshaded cell between runs of the same color, but that is not required for runs of different colors. All shaded runs are given.
Red lines separate the 4 6x6 sudokus. The pink line is a Renban line. Digits on it must be consecutive but not necessarily in order. Green lines are German Whisper. Digits on it must differ by at least 3.
Please notice the puzzle pieces are fish, boats and waves of water !

This puzzle was quite unusual. I kind of liked the idea of having to piece it together and going back and forth between solving things on a smaller and larger scale (within a puzzle piece vs in its surrounding context).
Playing it on the phone felt quite fidgety. Not sure how it would be on a computer, maybe that would have been easier.
Also, in my opinion there should definitely be a clarification in the rules about the clues being on the outside of the puzzle pieces and applying to the respective piece and not cells from other pieces that will also be in that direction. I feel like even my wording is not super clear, so I'm unsure how to convey this well. Maybe my overall impression of the puzzle would have been better if I hadn't spent the first 10min being misguided.
While this was far from my favorite puzzle, I think there was some cool logic in here and I find the Puzzle-Puzzle intriguing. Would look forward to seeing more of this format, maybe with more straight-forward rules.
