Rules:

  • Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.
  • Box borders divide the line into segments, none of which have identical or consecutive sums. Eg: if there is a segment with a sum of 10, no other segment anywhere on the line may have a sum of 9, 10 or 11.
  • A black dot sits between two digits with a 1:2 ratio (one is double the other.) Not all possible black dots are necessarily given.

Lovely, and elegant little construction. this provides a great, simple example of how, in a well set puzzle you can trust that if you are bogged down you are missing an important point or two...

Two insights needed (one counting, one arithmetic) and then it flows beautifully. But without those insights? Yikes!
