Systolic Pressure

PUZZLE:

RULES:

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Between Lines: Digits along a line must be between the digits found in that line's circles;
digits may repeat if allowed by other rules.
Killer: Digits within a cage must sum to the number in the top-left corner;
digits must not repeat within a cage.

MODIFIERS:

Entropic Counters: The digits in a orange circle indicate how many digits along that line are from the same Entropy group as itself, including both end circles
- either low {1, 2 or 3}, medium {4, 5 or 6} or high {7, 8 or 9}.

Modular Counters: The digits in a blue circle indicate how many digits along that line are from the same Modular group as itself, including both end circles
- either remainder one {1, 4 or 7}, two {2, 5 or 8} or zero {3, 6 or 9}.

INTRODUCTION:

It's incredible how much flexibility counting logic provides and how quickly it became part of the setting lexicon. I think we owe Marty Sears a debt of gratitude (even beyond the consistently good setting).

Have fun!

Very approachable puzzle! Longer lines took some time and brain power to wrap my head around but finished in little over 30 minutes!

Fun puzzle. Thrilled to have solved this one. Still working on the three previous ones.

The logic to determine the 2 end circles for the 2 longer lines was interesting.
