Locked out (Circle killer sudoku)

- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Circles: A circled digit indicates exactly how many circles contain that digit.
- Killer cages: Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the clue in the top left.

This one surprised me. I placed one digit and I thought I had found the start. Then the next step was so simple that it eluded me for about 10 minutes. Very smooth flow after that. I am impressed by the consistent quality of your puzzles, sujoyku. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Loved it! The deductions at the start were very clever. It seemed like it would crack after the break in but was elegantly difficult throughout. Well done.

I think your observation is quite accurate: After the break-in, the puzzle becomes easier but does not collapse immediately.
