Butterfly effect in is full play here, somehow a person boiling potatoes half a world away from me caused me to solve this puzzle. And I'm very glad those potatoes got boiled because the solve was excellent.

I can see the owl ^^ it's cute! This puzzle was fun. It took me a while to wrap my head around the rules, but then it was smooth solving.

No, I can't see the owl but I can see a half-blind dog who doesn't yet know which side is which ;) Really interesting and fun solve in any case. Thank you!

Oh, man. It took me three goes (kept making stupid mistakes) but it’s great. That slight break in symmetry is such a joy when you find it.

-Reply: Nice! Well done for persevering. Glad you enjoyed it and liked the moment the symmetry finally gets disambiguated via the handy dots :)

wow. just ... wow
What I find especially interesting is that the symmetry is broken with only one tiny thing.

Reply: - Thanks VitP, that's my favourite part about the puzzle too. When I saw how symmetrical it was turning out, I made it my mission to make the symmetry disambiguator as small as possible :D

Fun puzzle. Don't know why the CTC app says this is not the correct solution?! Anyways, thanks for the puzzle, @ marty_sears :)

- Reply: Hi Bankey, really glad you found it fun. I have fixed the solution checker now
