Logic Masters Deutschland e.V.

Swirl

(Published on 29. January 2023, 16:04 by zetamath)

Normal sudoku rules apply.

The lines in the grid are German whispers. Adjacent digits on a German whisper line must differ by at least 5.

Anti-V: No pair of orthogonally adjacent cells in the grid can sum to 5. (To clarify, summing to 10 is okay!)

Used the same flawed logic over and over during break-in. Once I realised the mistake, it was a nice solve.

Very nice break-in, surprisingly easy afterwards.

(I do like that zetamath only asks you to enter one row for the solution code.)

Joyful solve - I seemed to instinctively know where I needed to look to progress, which is very rare! Did not make this a simple solve, no siree, but it was really nice to feel like I was following a path for once!

Good puzzle. Loved the break in, and the solve was very smooth. Negative Constraints are always a fun time as well.

I was stuck for the most embarrassingly long time because I forgot about the Anti-V rule. Worse still, it happened more than once!

Once I actually remembered the second rule it became easy! Until then there was a lot of fun head-scratching.

A very nice treat to have an approchable Zetamath puzzle ! Picked it to do a dual solve with my kid :) We both loved it. Thanks.

Very nice construction and deft use of negative constraint. A lot of fun!

Very nice - suspiciously easy for a Zeta puzzle - I kept expecting some sneakery, but it was smooth all the way through :)

I like that the negative constraint doesn't feel overbearing in the solve. Very fun puzzle!

Very enjoyable solve. Realizing what was going on with the break in was a rewarding moment.

It's very good when the negative constraint brings fun instead of pain. Lovely puzzle!
