Sixlets (6x6 Samurai Sudoku)

(Published on 26. November 2022, 17:48 by AnalyticalNinja )

This is my first time setting a Samurai Sudoku, but I think it turned out quite well. Please enjoy!

Rules:
Within each of the overlapping 6x6 squares in the grid, place the digits 1-6 in every row, column, and 6 cell region without repeats.
Cells separated by a black dot must have a 1:3 ratio.
Digits in cages must sum to the small number in the corner.
Cells separated by a V sum to 5.

Playable with Penpa+. (answer check enabled)

Solution code: The digits from each of the four shared regions, one full region at a time. Digits are read left to right, top to bottom, and regions are ordered in the same way. (24 digits total)

Comments are spot on, the puzzle is really well made and the interaction are absolute beautiful. My first puzzle of this type so I found it to be harder than a 3 star; trouble with the scanning. Thanks for sharing

Great construction! It was a lot smoother once I realized that the black dots indicated a 1:3 ratio, and not a difference of 3.

- Thanks so much Agent! I'm sorry about the dot confusion, but I'm glad that it went smoothly once it was cleared up!

Very nice - tough for me to scan since I'm not used to samurai!

- Thanks! I'm glad you still appreciated it even with the tough scan!

Added Irregular tag, because the central box definitely has irregular regions.
