Lights Out Sudoku
(Published on 21. November 2022, 04:50 by glenfletcher)
- Normal Sudoku Rules Apply.
- Cells separated by a white dot must contain consecutive digits.
- Cells separated by a black dot must contain digits in a 1:2 ratio.
- Cells separated by a white square must have the same parity (i.e. both be even or both be odd).
- Cells separated by a black square must have different parity (i.e. one is even, the other is odd).
- Cells marked with a yellow circle are Lights Out Clues. That is cells that are on in a standard Lights Out Game (every time a cell is pressed it and its orthogonally connected neighbours are toggled on or off) where the grid has been scrambled by pressing each cell N times where N is the digit placed in that cell, starting from the all-off state.

Awesome puzzle, definitely intimidating to look at, but once you put some thought into it, the solution flows naturally and beautifully. Shame more people haven't solved it!

Hard to keep track of; would be really cool to have a board that reacts when you type in the numbers although maybe that would defeat the purpose and make it brute forceable. It must be easier than it looks though if you set it at 2*.
