Overlapping Equal Sums (4x4)

(Published on 1. August 2022, 12:40 by randomra)

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Digits on an Equal Sum line must have the same sum in each region the line is in.

(Each line is in at least 2 regions. If a line passes through a region multiple times, each individual segment sums separately. Lines can overlap. Each line has 2 ends, lines can not branch out. The number and shapes of the lines are to be determined by the solver.)

Even though understanding the ruleset was a bit tricky, the puzzle then had a lovely flow with some nice and clever logic! Very enjoyable! :)

The rules on the CtC website could have been better explained, to match the rules on here. I usually only read the rules on CtC and it caused me a great deal of grief haha

Ein sehr schöner logischer Weg, und im 3. Versuch fand ich es auch leicht ;-).

Very original, very funny, I enjoyed it a lot. It may be good to explicit a bit the rules : that a region sum line cannot branch of be a closed loop, and that the number and shapes of lines are to be determined.

@Samish - Thank you very much for the solve and the feedback!

@vercig09 - Thank you very much for the feedback! It is indeed a bit unusual solve.
