Distinct Dominoes

(Published on 26. June 2022, 00:57 by Scruffamudda)

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Digits separated by a V sum to 5.
Digits separated by an X sum to 10.
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive.
Digits separated by a black dot are in a ratio of 1:2.

Not all possible clues are shown but for each clue type (V, X, white dot, black dot) every possible pairing of digits must be used exactly once. (Eg: The 4 black dot dominoes must contain the pairs 12, 24, 36 and 48 in some order.)

Just fantastic! So many incredibly satisfying "aha" moments sprinkled throughout. I loved it.

Very elegant. I'm really impressed you took these building blocks and made a puzzle with no givens. Not that I'm an expert or anything, but it can't have been easy!

Loved this puzzle! The distinctness of those pairs was a great disambiguation. A good challenge and very fun.

Quite liked how things got disambiguated, good stuff

Am i the only one, who thinks the solution is not unique?
I think at the end i have 6 fields, which can't be filled unambigously.
Maybe i am wrong, but i am looking at it for 3 minutes now, and can't see where i am wrong...
Solution checker at CTC tells me the same.
