Amazing how far you can progress from an initial wrong assumption ;-) This was a struggle for me, until I started coloring. Great puzzle - the Class of '81 salutes you!

Ah yes, 1985. The introduction of both New Coke and Cherry Coke is followed closely by the reintroduction of original coke. CD's were introduced, along with Super Mario Brothers. The end of the Jeffersons and the beginning of the Unibomber. Michael Jordan is the NBA rookie of the year. Reagan's second term begins, Gorbuchev becomes the leader of the USSR, and the two leaders meet for the first time. IBM DOS ver. 3.2 is released. And for the first time ever, the US becomes a debtor nation. Good times.
