Inspired in part by kolot's puzzle Region Geometry, I've been trying for a very long time to create a Chaos Construction with very limited clues, and even though one region border was required, I'm very happy with how this puzzle has turned out!
- Every digit from 1 to 9 appears once in every row, column, and region. 9 regions are to be determined. Every region is a set of 9 orthogonally connected cells. One region border is given.
- All ? are positive single or double-digit clues. These clues, along with the >7 clue, are all both X-Sums and Border Sums clues combined.
- X-Sums clues indicate the sum of the first X seen digits in their respective row, column, or diagonal, where X is the first seen digit. All such seen digits are in the same region, with a region border immediately after the final seen X-Sum digit.
- Border Sums clues indicate the sum of the pair of digits across the first seen region border in their respective row, column, or diagonal.

Didn't find this puzzle too hard, the rule set is VERY cool. Enjoyed this one a lot!
- Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I'm kind of confused how it ended up being listed at 5-star difficulty. Most people I've spoken to completed it in under an hour, and I listed it at 4-star initially. - Xenonetix

Remarkable setting ! Did not expect this combination of rules to be so retrictive at first, but what a treat that was. And I smiled when I realized how powerful that given border was for the construction part ! Well done !

Great! Thanks! I almost lost my marbles over the break-in, because something seemed wrong with the implications of the ruleset, but then I found the loophole that fixed everything. :-)
Danke, großartig! Ich bin fast verrückt geworden, weil die Folgerungen aus den Regeln am Anfang einen Widerspruch zu erzeugen schienen, aber dann hab ich das Schlupfloch gefunden und alles hat sich in Wohlgefallen aufgelöst ... :-)
