Urban Renewal (11x11 deconstruction)

(Published on 24. May 2022, 21:25 by jwsinclair)

Deconstruction sudoku:
Fill the grid with nine non-overlapping 3x3 square regions, such that each region contains the digits 1 to 9 once each and no digit repeats in any row or column. Cells outside regions do not contain digits.
Cages show the sum of their digits (or give a lower bound, in some cases), and digits cannot repeat within a cage.
Digits along arrows sum to the digit in the connected circle, and can repeat if allowed by other rules.
Cells inside a cage or along an arrow do not necessarily contain digits.
Cells with a gray square must contain an even digit.

Thanks for the puzzle. Very cool. I struggled at the very beginning, was kind of trial and error, but after a while it flowed very nicely. Loved it.

Loved the parallel between this puzzle and "Deconstruction Site" with the big 6 and 45 cages. Two very nice ways of using this "stairs shaped" cage. Alse the >19 cage at the top was very well chosen ! Thanks !

Very nice puzzle, thank you. I enjoyed how the region building held up until the very end of the solve.
