Sudoku Variants Series (370) - Equal Results Sudoku

(Published on 11. May 2022, 01:00 by Richard)

For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every week. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.

Equal results Sudoku
Apply classic sudoku rules.
In every case of a circle containing an operator (/, x, -) in between two adjacent cells, the digits in those cells have exactly the same quotient (/), exactly the same product (x), or exactly the same difference (-) as all other cells with the same operator. In case there is no such circle, the quotient, product and difference must be different. If multiple operators can be placed between two cells, only one of them is given.

Basic inspiration for having different operators in one puzzle comes from Cane_Puzzles (here and here and here), but the negative constraint in my own puzzle is so powerful that not all four operators are necessarry.

Solve online in F-Puzzles or CtC-app (thx Steven R!)

Solution code: Row 9, followed by column 9.
