Absolute GAS

(Published on 10. February 2022, 18:41 by FullDeck-Missing)

The solve path for this is all naked singles. Ordinarily we wouldn’t post such a simple puzzle but we found it so pretty that we don’t feel we created the puzzle but rather discovered it, and that it should be shared. If you know someone who is just learning about thermos and training the mindset of ``where can digit x go in row/column/box y?'' this is a fun one to give them to work through.

Normal Sudoku rules apply: Each row, column, and 3x3 box contains each number from 1 to 9 exactly once.

Normal thermometer rules apply: Digits on a thermometer must increase from bulb to tip.

A few of our more challenging puzzles that you might enjoy:

Try it on f-puzzles or CTC.

Solution code: Row 2 (from left to right) followed by Column 8 (from top to bottom); 18 digits with no spaces.

Every time I introduce "the puzzle world beyond normal Sudokus" to friends, I show them this puzzle. One simple rule, no given figures, very approachable. Thanks for sharing!

This is not a sudoku puzzle, it's a puzzle of finding pattern. All right, it's still funny enough
