Box Logic

Normal Sudoku rules: Every row, column and box must contain the digits 1-9.
Kropki: Cells separated by a black dot are in a ratio 2:1. Cells separated by a white dot are consecutive.
WARNING: Apologies, I accidentally used the wrong colours for my lines. In this puzzle Purple is German whispers, Green in Renban.
German Whispers: Neighbouring digits on a purple line must differ by at least 5.
Renban: Digits on a green line must be chosen from a consecutive set, in any order.
Box Logic: Within any box N, two orthogonally connected cells must not differ by N. Eg, box 3 could not contain dominoes such as 14, 25, etc. (Dominoes across box boundaries are unconstrained.)

The usual convention is for German Whispers lines to be green and Renban lines not. Is there a good reason for confounding expectations?

Clarified that dominoes across box boundaries are unconstrained by the box logic rules.
