- Thermo: Digits on a thermo line (grey) increase from the bulb end.
- Palindrome: Digits on a palindrome line (brown) read the same in either direction.

Think after more than two years this deserves a comment. Solving this puzzle is not an awful experience. It is not horrendously difficult. You can use pretty colours if you like. If you enjoy solving sudokus - if you're reading this I reckon you fit the bill - you will probably enjoy this puzzle. There is nothing to fear except fear itself. Go on, give it a whirl, you know you want to.
