Cute Mischief - A 6x6 Irregular Sudoku Pack

(Published on 21. October 2021, 20:41 by Playmaker6174)

Yes indeed, the following one here is a 6x6 irregular Sudoku pack including 6 small and cute looking puzzles but there're some surprises hidden in it, I hope you enjoy!

For people who still want to check out my Battle With The Archers series, you can click on here.

Rules: Normal irregular 6x6 Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and bold region contains digits from 1 to 6 each once.

Normal variant rules apply, including: thermometer, kropki (difference/ratio), X-sum, arrow, renban, antiking killer.
As the pack goes on, the estimated difficulty also tends to increase, this criteria may be different based on everyone's opinions. The overall estimated difficulty of entire pack is judged by the average of all 6 of them.

1) Thermometer (2/5) : Digits along a thermometer must strictly increase from the bulb to the tip end.

2) Kropki - difference/ratio (2.5/5): A white dot with digit in it implies the respective difference relationship between the connected cells, a black dot implies the 1:2 ratio relationship between the connected cells. Not all black dots are given.

3) X-sum (2.5/5): Clues outside the grid show the total of the first X cells from their corresponding direction, where X is the value of the first cell.

4) Arrow (3/5): Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in the circle cells. Digits can repeat if allowed by other rules.

5) Renban (3/5 - 3.5/5): Digits along a line form a set of non-repeating consecutive digits in any order.

6) Rainbow - Antiking Killer (3/5 - 3.5/5): Digits within a cage can't repeat and must add to the small number written in the top left. Cells that are a King's move away (in chess) mustn't contain the same digit.

Puzzle:

F-puzzle: Thermo - Kropki - Xsum - Arrow - Renban - Rainbow

Penpa+: Thermo - Kropki - Xsum - Arrow - Renban - Rainbow

CTC app: Thermo - Kropki - Xsum - Arrow - Renban - Rainbow

Good luck and have fun solving!

Solution code: Four corners of the entire grid from each of the puzzle in the order, specifically (r1c1-r1c6-r6c1-r6c6) from each of the puzzle in the order in the rule set, 24 digits long total with no space

Superb collection of interesting and fun mini treats!
It was a nice surprise that a X-sums puzzle could solve with only 3 clues. I enjoy irregular sudokus, so they were all a delight to solve. Thanks a lot for making them! :-)

Thanks for your lovely feedback! Indeed I was surprised at how X-sum puzzle turned out, at this point I think 3 clues is perhaps the smallest possible (if not having any givens). Overall this pack was a real joy for me to do :)
