Put exactly two stars in every row, column and area such that no stars touch each other, not even diagonally.
The grey areas have no special meaning.
Solution code: For every row (top to bottom) the number of columns left of the leftmost star

@areigner: I removed the link from your comment mainly because it references a different puzzle (6T5), but also because I already provided a working online link and I am strongly against using sudokupad for unsuitable puzzle types like Star Battle. I would prefer to not have sudokupad links under my (non-sudoku) puzzles.
