SCL Ripoff (X-Sums)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the first X digits in that direction, where X is the first digit.
This puzzle is a variation on a theme established in an X-Sums puzzle by Sam Cappleman-Lynes, hence the title :) Happy solving!
