Thermo Sandwich (<>) Sudoku

Place the digits 1-9 into each cell of the grid. None of the rows, columns or boldly outlined 3x3 boxes contain repeated digits.
Standard Thermo Sudoku rules apply:
Digits increase along thermometer shapes, starting at the bulb ends.
Standard Sandwich Sudoku rules apply:
Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits between the 1 and the 9 in the corresponding row or column.
Note that most clues in this puzzle have inequality signs, which tell that the sum has to be greater than or less than the given number.

Clarification on the rules: does the inequality sign mean strictly less/greater than or can it be equal to the value?
-Inequality means it can't be equal to the value.
