Greatest Hits Sudoku

Ok, I am showing my age a bit with this now.

Burt Bacharach wrote many hits in the 1960s and 1970s; included on the Sudoku are the initials for a few of them.
While you are working out what the songs are, decode the letters and solve the Sudoku.
There are so many letters, TWO letters map to each of the digits 1 to 9.

Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Cages all sum to 16 and do not have repeated digits.
The palindrome sums to 18 (check the song initials!).

Ich verstehe nicht, wie die Titel beim Decodieren helfen sollen.
They do not. al all. However, if you want to try finding which the tunes are, that is a separate puzzle.
Just concentrate on the letters for the puzzle 18 that map (twice) to each of 1-9
